It is also the tallest mountain in Japan, and is considered auspicious for its beautiful form. It comes in a wooden box that depicts the shape of Mt. Fuji when the lid is opened, making it the perfect gift for a special person or someone who likes alcohol. Lapis lazuli and red kise glass, which is also used as a material for Edo glass, is made by layering thin layers of colored glass on clear glass, and is blown one by one by skilled craftsmen, passing it from hand to hand. This product won the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 54th National Recommended Tourist Souvenirs Review Committee.
