Kiyomizu ware was cultivated at the foot of Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto. The vessels are gorgeously decorated with gold and painting, but we have created a simple and elegant vessel using the "persimmon glaze red" that is unique to Kiyomizu ware.
