The top brand of earthenware pots that has been loved since 1972, GINPO Japan (Ginpo Toki), has made this earthenware pot, the "Hana Mishima" series, which is a timeless masterpiece. It is made in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture.
The name "Yokkaichi Banko ware" became known throughout the country around 1960. By mixing the mineral petalite into the clay and firing it, the heat resistance was greatly improved, and "Yokkaichi Banko ware" earthenware pots spread throughout the country.
Among the many earthenware pots in "Yokkaichi Banko ware," the "Hana Mishima" series has excellent heat resistance and is made to be sturdy, so it is widely used not only in ordinary households but also for commercial use.
