These are works from Miyama Kiln, which opened in the late Meiji period in Nomi, Ishikawa Prefecture as a kiln for overglaze Kutani ware.
This famous Kutani ware kiln is loved by many for its traditional style with a modern sensibility, research into form, color, and design, and the production of works that meet modern needs.
